Must.Love.Jesus.

Does anyone else notice that there seems to be an epidemic, at least in West Michigan, for single Christians?  Single men and women in their late 20's and early 30's not dating as much.... where are all the single men and women who are following Jesus?   You might say, "Church", but then... are you going to Church to grow closer to God... or to find a date?  It can feel... well, wrong.

Although it is not impossible, finding our Jesus loving man at a bar is not the best route to take.  And you really do not want to get into a relationship with someone at work.... and are we reaching the point where online dating is the only way to meet people? 

It also seems that single-career focused men and women today are pushing aside dating (I mean TRUE dating to find a solid connection) due to their busy schedules... This is true for myself and one of my good friends, Sara. We work 40-50 hours a week and it just seems there are no single Christian men around lately.... so, we have accepted the reality that prince charming is not going to knock on our front door one day (although its not impossible... :)  NO!  We MUST get off our couches and get out there!  We have decided and we are going full force.

So, we are back to the question... where does a late 20's early 30's Christian man or woman find a date these days?  Well, we are going to find that out... over the next 10 weeks...

Week 1:
-Re-evaluate hair; makeup; clothes; come up with exercise routine and Bible devotion plan.... let's face it, a man with a heart for Jesus wants a women who takes care of herself inside and out and who is working on her relationship with God.

Week 2:
-Research singles gatherings in West Michigan:  Speed dating, singles Church groups, etc...
-Begin Devotions and Exercise routine.

Week 3-Week 6:
-Each week attend at least two singles events or church groups.
-Exercise Routine
-Devotions and Prayer

Week 7-10:  (THE DATES!!!)
-At least one date a week
