Love is... trusting other people.

Sara and I have finished two weeks of our our ten-week program to find our Jesus loving men!  Along with having fun sharing our journey with the supportive men and women in our life, we have already been meeting potential candidates!  During week one, we have spent time re-evaluating our hair, nails, clothing and have created a devotion plan and exercise routine.  We found that just by simply focusing a little more on ourselves inside and out, we felt more confident, allowing us to be open to meeting new people, and even being more confident in embracing people that are already in our everyday lives.... Amazing what a little self-pampering can do for the soul!

During week two, we attempted to research different West Michigan churches that have singles gatherings and events... no luck so far.  :(

We also attempted to find a speed dating event happening soon in West Michigan... no luck again.   :(

So, week two did not go so well.  But we are not giving up!  We are asking you ladies (our support team) to inform us of any singles groups and opportunities in the area.

We also would love to know of any GREAT Christian men that you feel would be a good match for either of us.  We are sincere about this journey, we are putting our hearts out here, and we are ready to allow God to show us what a loving relationship looks like with HIM.   The reason we are reaching out to all of you is because, we trust you when you are picking out potential men for us.

So, friends and family, PLEASE HELP US... Think of the amazing single Jesus-following men in your life in their 20's-late 30's who are looking for a meaningful relationship with a Jesus-loving woman and feel free to have them contact us.

Also - If you love and support us in this journey, please let us know by commenting on this blog or sending us a private message through facebook.  (this is not a public blog)  We want your support so much, please pray, send kind words of encouragement or advice on dating/relationships!  We are ALL EARS AND ALL HEARTS!  Thank you so much!

Week 3:
Tuesday, March 29 - Devotions/more research on events!  (plan two events for week 4)
Saturday, April 2 - Exercise/Devotions

  1. Totally following this and rooting for you girls! I remember moving to west Michigan and thinking, It's a good thing I don't need one, because there are like no single men around here! So my first thought: come hang out with me in the Chicago area. Or get on board with the Denver church plant. The pool is definitely larger in the non-bizzaro grand rapids area. But if any two women can power swim to a couple godly studs in the west Michigan pool, it's you two lovely ladies. I've got my feelers out for ya.
